Customise your Luxtrés Press On Nails

Customise your press on nails easily at home in minutes without any special equipment.

One of the reasons we love press on nails here at Luxtrés is that they are so easy to customise:

If you like one of our designs which come in medium almond, you can change them to a short almond, short round or even an extra short.

Similarly, if you like one of our designs in a medium round, you can customise them to a medium almond, medium round or an extra short.

What you’ll need

Nail clippers or nail scissors (we prefer clippers)

Nail file included in each Luxtrés kit

What to do

Shaping almond styles:

1. Position the file against the corner of your fingertip and press on nail
2. Using the corner of your fingertip as a guide, file your nails into a triangle shape, making sure to alternate to keep the triangle symmetrical
3. Blend the sidewalls into the triangle and avoid sharp lines
4. Round and smooth the tip

Shaping short round and extra short styles:

1. Use nail clippers to cut to the desired length
2. Use a nail file to shape the edges of your nails into a rounded shape. Hold the file at a 45-degree angle to the natural nail bed and gently file the corners, gradually rounding them until the edges are smooth and even.
3. Next, use the nail file to shape the tips of your nails into a rounded shape. Hold the file at a 90-degree angle to the nail bed and gently file the tip of each nail, rounding it off to create a smooth, even curve.
